Scouts from throughout Utah and Wasatch County will be collecting food donations on Saturday, March 23, 2013 to help secure food for pantries that are low on resources. The food that is collected will be used to help struggling families in Utah and Wasatch Counties.

Although there is a need for all types of perishable food, pantries are especially in need of canned meat, canned vegetables, dry goods (pasta, cereals, oats, etc.) and hygiene items. Households are also encouraged to donate additional bags if resources are available. Click Here, for a full list of most needed items.

Monetary donations can be made by clicking the donate button at the top of the page.  Many donors are surprised to learn Community Action can turn a $1 donation into 17 pounds of food through their partnerships with grocery retailers and other food distributors.
