Pepsi Refresh Summer Food Drive – There will be plenty of events and opportunities throughout the summer to give and to make a difference in your community. Food drive donation bags will be distributed with the Daily Herald during the summer. Fill them up and take them to any Associated Food store in Utah or Wasatch Counties or any Friday night Orem Owlz game.
Alliance for Unity Food Drive – Saturday, September 29, 2012. Place your non-perishable food donations in a bag(s) outside your front door. Members of your local church group will pick-up the food and deliver it to Community Action Food Bank or the drop-off locations at any Walmart.
Scouting for Food Drive – Saturday, March 2011. Place your non-perishable food donations in a bag(s) outside your front door. Your neighborhood Scout Troop will pick-up the food and deliver it to Community Action Food Bank or their corresponding drop-off locations. Letter Carrier’s Food Drive – Held the second Saturday in May, this partnership relies on the National Association of Letter Carriers. Place your non-perishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox. Your letter carrier will deliver it to the Community Action Food Bank.
Grow a Row – A national campaign launched in 1995 by the Garden Writers Association of America. The Community Action Food Bank launched its first Grow a Row campaign in 2000. You can participate by designating a row in your garden and donating the produce to the Community Action Food Bank.
