Community Action Services and Food Bank partners with you to change people’s lives and improve our local communities. You may have access to supplies and/or equipment that can support our purposes. General Program and Service Needs
- New carpets for office space
- Office furniture for expanded office space
- Commercial quality furniture and toys for small child care area
- 4 laptop computers for rural offices and homeless services
- Snow blower
- LCD projector and screen for classroom and board room
- Equipment and supplies for commercial kitchen (for start-up low-income food production businesses)
- Industrial paper shredders
- 5 new computers
- Production of video regarding agency services for use in lobby – $7,000
- Donations to help set up a special fund to help families who are facing a foreclosure
Community Action Food Bank
- 5+ ton refrigerated truck
- Funding for two additional temporary drivers for holiday food drive – $12,000
- Emergency generator
- Drum lifter for food barrels
- New batteries for three donated electric fork lifts – $2,500 each
- Paneled van
- Funding to paint food bank trucks and to place logo and messaging on the trucks
- Funding for grocery bags for distribution in local newspapers for holiday food drive
