Pepsi Refresh/Community Action
5k and 10k
The annual Pepsi Refresh/Community Action 5k and 10k will take place on Saturday, May 25. Registration is going on now, and in addition to our normal 5k, we've expanded to a 10k! Are you up to the challenge?
The Community Action Difference
We here at Community Action don't act like your run-of-the-mill non-profit; we are different. We focus on innovative programs that get results, empower individuals and engage the community. We are proud of our unique community, and think it deserves an individualized approach.
That's why our race is unlike anything you have ever experienced before. Imagine a race that energizes the community by inviting local schools, clubs and organizations to dance, sing and cheer you on to the finish line. That is what waits for you at the Pepsi Refresh/Community Action 5k and 10k.
Not only does this race go to support your friends and neighbors who are in need of the programs at Community Action Services and Food Bank, but it will be an event to remember! After the race, stick around and enjoy the expo and give-aways provided by local businesses. All this, a free t-shirt, and you'll be supporting programs that help our neighbors in need.
Why run the Pepsi Refresh/Community Action 5k and 10k?
Well, first of all, it's going to be a blast. Seriously, we're going to make this race a day to remember. More importantly though, the proceeds of the Community Action 5K and 10k benefit residents of Utah, Wasatch, and Summit Counties who are in need of assistance from Community Action Services and Food Bank, the food bank for this region.
The day’s events will include free food, t-shirt, music and lots of fun! Also, participants and attendees may enter a drawing to win free prizes from local businesses!
The top male and female finishers will receive a $50 cash prize!
Visit our registration page to learn how to sign up. Please remember to bring non-perishable food items, as well as hygiene and baby products, to donate on the day of the race!
