Hunger Meal

In these tough times we can give thanks for the many things we have – family, friends, home and caring neighbors.
Community Action Food Bank is helping 150 – 200 families each day. You can help by hosting your own Hunger Meal in your home. The menu for your gathering can be as simple or as complex as you would like.

So, gather your friends, family, classmates, teammates – really anyone who likes to eat-and provide them with a simple meal and an evening of activities whose purpose is to increase awareness. Give your friends and/or family a chance to learn about local hunger and poverty. Give them an opportunity to make a donation and/or to participate in a service project to support the efforts of Community Action Services and Food Bank.

We are thankful for you and your past support. With your participation you can continue to make a difference for families, elderly and children who are feeling a great sense of worry and hopelessness at this time.
