Year-Round Holiday Projects

Holidays are filled with fun festivities and unique traditions. However, despite all the excitement, these annual celebrations often leave struggling families with heartache. Holidays can be very expensive and those who are unable to afford the typical gestures of these treasured moments may be left with a feeling of despair, rather than excitement. By giving a small part of your time and resources, you can help make the holidays a special time for those in difficult circumstances.

The following projects can help families experience the joy of the holidays and maybe even allow your family to create a new tradition in the process.

We ask that you complete these projects 30 to 45 days before the holiday so that we have time to distribute them to families that will benefit from them.

When projects are completed, please drop them off  at Community Action Services and Food Bank located at 815 South Freedom Boulevard in Provo. If you have any questions regarding these projects, please contact Kaitlan Marsden, volunteer coordinator, at VC@CommunityActionUC.org or by calling 801-691-5247.
