As the holiday season approaches, the spirit of giving comes alive in communities worldwide. The Light the World Giving Machines at University Place are here to make your holiday giving even more meaningful. These innovative, vending machine-style kiosks transform giving into a fun, interactive experience that allows you to see the direct impact of your generosity.
How Do the Giving Machines Work?
The Giving Machines look like traditional vending machines, but instead of snacks or drinks, they offer opportunities to donate tangible items to local charities.
This year, Community Action Services and Food Bank (CASFB) is honored to be part of the Giving Machines again for the third year in a row. Your gift to support our Food+More mission invests in people, fosters self-reliance, and changes generations.
This Year’s Items Supporting CASFB Include:
- Weekend Meal ($6): Provide a much-needed weekend meal for a disadvantaged child.
- Warming Center Kit ($40): Give a mat, bus pass, and comfort items to someone experiencing homelessness.
- 200 Meals ($100): Donate 200 healthy meals to local people in need.
With each selection, you’re providing essential items and services to those who need them most.

Holiday Giving through the Giving Machines is easy and fun!

- Visit the Utah Giving Machines: Stop by the Giving Machines at University Place. Right outside of Dillards!
- Choose an Item to Donate: Whether it’s a meal for a child, a kit for someone experiencing homelessness, or meals for hundreds, each item represents hope and support for local families.
- Spread the Word: Share this opportunity with your loved ones. Make it a group activity and encourage others to experience the joy of giving this season.
